Eldorado Climbing Walls: Integrated Marketing Campaign for New Product Line
As Eldorado Climbing Walls sought new opportunities to make climbing accessible to all individuals, it developed a do-it-yourself installation geared toward kids – an industry first. The brand hired Catapult Creative Labs to develop a multi-touch marketing campaign to debut its new product line.
ADM Forage First Brand Strategy and Logo Design
ADM is a global leader in human and animal nutrition and the world’s premier agricultural origination and processing company. Though the brand has an established customer base in the midwest, in recent years the equine feed space has become more competitive particularly amongst big brands, with more products touting a similar message. ADM enlisted Catapult Creative Labs to strengthen its brand and ultimately sway its key consumers towards its equine feed products.
Jackson Hole Explorer
In 2019, Jackson Hole Chamber of Commerce hired Catapult to produce its 2020 visitor’s guide. Catapult upended the conventional tourism guide outline and created a fun, “seasons-first” approach to laying out compelling content while also conceptualizing and producing sponsored content that felt organic to the publication. We work with the Jackson Hole Chamber of Commerce to distribute 60,000 copies across the Rocky Mountains.
Exit 205 isn’t just an exit number; it’s also the heart of Summit County. We plan, write, and publish Exit 205, an annual tourism magazine for Dillon and Silverthorne. These neighboring mountain towns are home to thriving local businesses, a variety of recreation opportunities, an emerging art scene, tons of great restaurants, and tight-knit community.
Each year, Catapult works with the Dillon and SIlverthorne’s tourism bureaus to create an editorial calendar that meets both town’s goals. The magazine features long-form narratives, in-depth profiles, news, locally-made products, book reviews, and recipes.
We distribute the 72-page print magazine to dozens of businesses and events across the Front Range, including Denver International Airport, Colorado visitor centers, and Warren Miller film stops.
We also created a fully responsive WordPress website (exit205colorado.com) to accompany the print magazine and help theneighboring towns showcase their events and attractions in a visually appealing and easily searchable manner that their current independent city-based websites could not.
In 2017, we launched Merrell Magic, a nationwide event series in collaboration with BACKPACKER magazine to surprise unsuspecting hikers, thru-hikers, campers and trail crews with trail magic. We’ve worked with public land officials in Arizona, California, Georgia, Minnesota, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Utah, Vermont, Washington, and Wisconsin to highlight their state parks via social media, video, and content marketing. Our native articles, sponsored videos, and photography has earned Merrell more than 4.5 million impressions in the last six months. And for partners like Yosemite National Park it’s also driven wanderlust via aspirational photos, storytelling, and video.
Catapult created a range of materials to provide an archive of marketable assets for Merrell, BACKPACKER, and each destination. This work included five videos focused on the destination’s activities, as well as native long-form content marketing and social content.
We promoted Merrell Magic to BACKPACKER’s audience via Instagram, Instagram Story, Instagram TV, Facebook, Twitter, Backpacker Basecamp Newsletters, and custom email blasts.
Catapult executed 32 activations for Merrell in 14 states, including a surprise dinner and overnight hotel stay in Yosemite for five Pacific Crest Trail thru hikers, a backcountry concert along California’s Lost Coast, a backcountry gourmet four-course dinner in Georgia’s Providence Canyon State Recreation Area, and a surprise pizza and ice cream party for student volunteers in Mount Rainier National Park. We’ve produced five videos, four long-form stories and more than 1,000 photographs for Merrell’s marketing use.
Palm Beach Motor Yachts
Palm Beach motor yachts are a long time Marine Group client and are well renowned for their stunning interiors, exotic teak detailing and incredible peak performance stats. This fall Palm Beach choose to debut the first boat of their new GT Series, the GT50 Express. Palm Beach choose to work with Catapult Creative Labs and AIM’s Marine Group to support this launch.
The overarching goals are to generate leads for the Palm Beach sales efforts and drive traffic to boat shows where Palm Beach is participating. A lead generation program utilizing sponsored content and a nurturing campaign has been created. The program is anchored with three content downloads geared to attract and educate leads who are interested in express cruisers. Email and facebook drivers are used to generate traffic to the content. The four-email nurture campaign maintains contact with the leads providing them with event information where they can come and see the GT50 in-person.
Catapult Creative Labs, in partnership with AIM Studios and the AIM Equine Group, produced a series of corporate videos for KindredBio. KindredBio is focused on bringing groundbreaking human products and innovative new technologies to veterinary medicine. The videos serve as an introduction to KindredBio and tells the story of the problems KindredBio is trying to solve.
The bucolic eastern cape of the Baja Peninsula is home to world-class sportfishing, endless sunshine, untrammeled miles of sandy beach, and the newest Four Seasons resort – Costa Palmas at Los Cabos. When completed, this six-flag property will feature the best-outfitted marina along this stretch of the Sea of Cortes, residences and custom homes laid out on a spectacular golf course, a beach club equipped with toys and activities for all ages, and the service that sets Four Seasons apart. The ownership team recognized Catapult as a strong partner for creative execution matched with AIM’s stable of yachting media brands and prestigious boat shows. They selected Catapult to produce video and TV footage as the resort takes shape, and to conduct content marketing, social media, and event activations to both promote the location and identify qualified customers. The video below debuted in November 2016 at the Ft. Lauderdale International Boat Show, giving future guests a taste of what’s waiting in this sportsman’s paradise.
National Ski Areas Association
Catapult worked with the National Ski Areas Association on a safety initiative, born out of a personal tragedy. The project included producing ad creative and signage for distribution through print, digital media, and resorts. We also created the branding — #RideAnotherDay – and worked with AIM Studios on a PSA-style video for NSAA. Read the story behind the work here, and visit NSAA’s website for more information.
Deer Valley Resort
Since opening in 1981, Deer Valley Resort in Park City, Utah, has become known for delivering classic, consistent, and quality service both on and off the mountain. As Deer Valley’s advertising agency of record, Catapult was hired to rethink the resort’s creative direction. After brand discovery, we created a brand manifesto that laser-focused on the Deer Valley Experience and built the new “It Stays With You” creative for a summer, geo-targeted campaign on Trip Advisor. Our work includes ad creative, custom content, digital marketing assets and strategy, video, and even a refreshed logo for the resort.
Grand Banks Yachts
An iconic yacht builder for more than 60 years, Grand Banks Yachts is working with Catapult on a range of content projects, including video, website content, social media, enewsletters, and even the launch of their new Grand Banks 60 this spring. To best tell the story of this authentic brand, we’ve traveled to Malaysia to meet those closest to the brand and capture video. We’ve also reached out to owners to share their stories and integrate the brand’s story today with its rich history.
National Reining Horse Association
The National Reining Horse Association is a nonprofit association dedicated to promoting and encouraging the development of and public interest in the sport of reining. Reining is a judged event designed to show the athletic ability of a ranch type horse within the confines of a show arena. In NRHA competition, contestants are required to run one of thirteen approved patterns, including small slow circles, large fast circles, flying lead changes, roll backs over the hocks, 360 degree spins done in place, and exciting sliding stops that are the hallmark of the reining horse.
To better serve Professional Trainers of the Association, the NRHA reached out to Catapult to develop a quarterly custom print publication dedicated to this audience. Content includes best practices for professionals, ranging from how to better run a business and ensure financial success, to managing social media complaints and drawing new customers to the sport.
